DESCRIPTION:
The two disparate words Exist & Exit combined into ExiSt, call for us to reflect on what exists in reality and what exits reality, and is just an illusion that perpetuates its own false history... Can we count on culture and art to contribute to the development of society, or can they turn into tools of propaganda and become instruments of destruction?
We live in a time when myths about the greatness of the people and culture clash with the true values of human life and freedom. Is culture capable of influencing society to be vigilant and overcome the crisis?
Olha Kebas is an artist from Kyiv who was forced to leave her hometown after the russian invasion. In her performance Exi(s)t, she uses dance to tell the story of her home and family and how their lives have changed. She also traces the impact of russian propaganda on the lives of her relatives and compatriots. It is a story full of pain, but also of strength, hope, confidence and love.

Iris Forest mainly uses piano and voice in her works but there is also some electronic music. In some way, though it's a kind of experimental pop minimalism.
