ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
All-Ukrainian Association Contemporary Dance Platform was established in 2015 during the fifth international ZELYONKA FESTIVAL in Kyiv. The reason for creating the organization was the need to combine the efforts of managers and choreographers to find new forms of interaction within the dance community.
Since its foundation, the Contemporary Dance Platform has created several projects that have influenced the formation of the identity of contemporary dance in Ukraine. These are ARTIL - an art incubator for young choreographers, LET THE BODY SPEAK — a hub of Ukrainian contemporary dance during the war, ALTstage — an environment for interaction between choreographers, media artists and IT-specialists, the Ukrainian-Polish bienniale DANCE SPACE, the international festival ZELYONKA.
We create educational and performative projects with the participation of Ukrainian professionals and invite European and American colleagues to share their experiences. We use opportunities to promote Ukrainian contemporary dance at home and abroad. We hold about 10 events a year.

For 12 years, I have been a marketing and communications manager of independent theatre projects, educational programs and various business areas. Since 2020, I have been cooperating with the projects of the UA Contemporary Dance Platform. Movement artist and dancer, member of the performative group P.L.O.T. established on the basis of the Museum of Odesa Modern Art.

Dancer and performer with a background in street and contemporary dance. I create performances and video works at the intersection of visual and dance arts.
I shoot dance events. Since 2021, I have been working at the UA Contemporary Dance Platform.

For 12 years, I studied to become a ballet dancer, horeographer, teacher and theater critic. I danced for 10 years, created performances for 6 years in cooperation with drama theater directors. Since 2018, I have been engaged in cultural management and production. I can also write about dance, although I do it less than I would like.

THE MISSION
● To create opportunities and support the development of the professional dance community in Ukraine.
● To support independent choreographers and dance companies in the fields of promotion and art management.
● To advocate the art of contemporary dance at the national and international level with an emphasis on its uniqueness as an experimental form of performative art based on the study of corporeality and the physical interaction of human with time, space and energy.
● To implement the working experience of inclusive dance companies and European and American educational institutions.
