DESCRIPTION:

The performance works at the intersection of media: dance, drawing, word, interactive scenography.
An important component of the scenography are threads — ties woven into the hair that give or take away strength, entangle or return to oneself and show the way in the labyrinth.
The creation of the script and score took place through writing essays, letters, consideration of personal “wigwams”, events, choices, weaknesses, experiences, feelings and sensations. The performance is “stitched” with the stories of the team members, which makes it possible to rely on improvisation and performativity. The script is written with the courage to open up and share experience.
A separate component is the invitation of the audience to walk around the location and get acquainted with the materials of our residencies, rehearsals, evenings of discussions, togetherness, readings, sketches. The way we walked through labyrinths in search of meanings worth sharing: a person's relationship with their own life, body, universe, partner, society, child, time.
What precedes birth? What happened before memory? We drew inspiration from mythology, the diversity of nature, evolution — as the dance of life. What is a person in this — and how can evolution occur in the relatively short duration of a human life? A person who has light and shadow, social masks and blocked feelings, weaknesses and virtues. What gives a feeling of evolution-development-joy-fulfillment in life? What is courage? What is each of us? Where to find a guiding thread to get out of the labyrinth of a dark wigwam, how to defeat the inner minotaur, especially in the darkest times?
